Neurofeedback, Scotopic Sensitivity Screening
Michele Little: Throughout school, Michelle has worked in the mental health field, and has extensive experience with teens and adults in residential and educational settings. She continues to work with all ages, using Neurofeedback to help clients manage symptoms of brain based disorders, such as ADD/ADHD, anxiety, and migraine. She coaches parents and children on different strategies to manage ADD/ADHD issues, and uses Heart Rate Variability biofeedback to promote greater relaxation and inner awareness. Michelle has worked with Dr. Hughes, as a Neurofeedback technician since 2004. Michelle also has experience interning at Living Well Today, a nutritional and functional medicine practice. In addition, Michelle is also a certified Irlen Screener for Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome.
Michelle graduated from Shippensburg University in 2003 with her BA in psychology, and is currently working on her graduate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University. Along with her core Rehabilitation Counseling classes, she has taken additional electives in neuroscience and social work. Upon completing her master´s degree she plans to use Neurofeedback along with a "life-coaching" style of counseling to help teens and young adults with ADD/ADHD, eating disorders, and anxiety.
